Banff Centre Radio: Take off!

On June 23, 2014 Banff Centre Radio hit the air. It’s a beautiful old school system – a low power transmitter on Tunnel Mountain that sends stories to Banff, and only Banff. Luckily for everyone else, a stream is now available on-line.

I worked as a contributing producer at this station in the summer of 2013 and again for two months in the run up to launch in 2014. Congratulations to the team of hard-working, pub-going, sound-creating, question-asking producers who went above and beyond for so many days to launch Canada’s most exciting new station. Bravo!
